I started visiting Dylan for acupuncture in 2010 for a shoulder injury. My husband and I fell pregnant not long after and I continued to have acupuncture to assist in helping my various pregnancy complaints. While I did not get morning sickness my list of complaints was long… Mood swings, tender breasts, lower back and pelvis pain, constipation – just to name a few. Acupuncture helped ease all of them as well as my initial shoulder injury.
Fast forward to 2012 – Second Pregnancy, Im a busy working mum and I fall pregnant again. Morning sickness starts. I think Im going to die. I contact Dylan and tell him I need to see him urgently and he tells me he is on holidays and will be back in 2 weeks. It’s the longest 2 weeks of my life but I know he will help me and he does. I got immediate relief from his treatment for about 4 days then the morning sickness crept back, after my second treatment it was almost gone completely.
I honestly believe I didn’t get morning sickness with my first pregnancy as I was already having acupuncture when I fell pregnant. Now 19 weeks pregnant, I will continue to see Dylan through this pregnancy as I did the last. Already he has treated me for most of my previous complaints, with great results but it is the treatment for the morning sickness which blows me away and Im telling everyone I know. Women can suffer with morning sickness for months during pregnancy and they don’t have to!

I have been lifting weights and competing in some form of sporting activity since I was 18 years old. Throughout the years I had minor injuries and pains, but over time they would disappear and were never treated properly. I had dislocated my right shoulder numerous amounts of times and had lower back pains due to my heavy training. My body structure was bending forwards due to the lack of stretching and treatment.
More recently I started to train in strongman, this is where I felt I had to do something to release all the muscular tension and fix my ongoing niggling injuries. I then found Dylan who was right next door to my gym. I immediately dispelled all myths and rumours everyone had told me about acupuncture and made an appointment.
I believe that acupuncture is the best thing I have done in my life and strongly recommend it to everyone. As soon as Dylan commenced treatment I could see all the tension in the muscles literally drain. When I walked out I was a walking zombie high in the clouds (perfectly normal effect) and when I got home I instantly felt that my back and shoulder pain was gone.
How could I tell for sure after one treatment, well I was tying my shoelaces and noticed I could actually touch the floor and my toes, this was a result of all the tension in the lower back, neck and shoulders being released. After a few more treatments all my injuries and niggling pains were gone and this immediately made life easier. When we have constant pain it affects our personality and lives. I strongly urge you all to ignore any negative remarks about this type of treatment, as it will change your life…I promise.
