Everyone at BMBS Acupuncture and Natural Therapies undergoes continual education in their chosen field each year to keep their skills and knowledge at the highest possible level.

Dylan Watson – Acupuncturist
After completing his 4 year Degree in Acupuncture, Chinese Remedial Massage at Endeavour College in Brisbane, Dylan has since furthered his knowledge through completing Post Graduate specialty courses in the following areas:
- Certificate in Japanese Acupuncture – Manaka Protocols
- Certificate in Japanese Acupuncture – East Asian Needle Therapy (Toyohari)
- Certificate in Japanese Acupuncture – Gynecological Problems, Fertility Management

Dylan has extensive experience in treating lots of different conditions, but has a specific interest & has undergone specialist training in Fertility Management, Pregnancy and Womens Issues, as well as in Sports & Musculoskeletal injuries. His interest in Sports stems largely from his own experience in playing Aussie Rules, Golf and Basketball from a very young age.
Dylan has worked closely with Brisbane and Sunshine Coast based Osteopaths to enhance his knowledge of the musculo-skeletal system of the Human body. This awareness of variable Osteopathic techniques gives Dylan the extra edge in treating muscular aches & pains such as Back Pain, Neck & Shoulder Pain, Sciatica, Sporting Injuries etc with Acupuncture.

Leanne Aster – Clinical Nutritionist
Leanne is a registered clinical nutritionist (BHSc NutMed) with the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS) with a keen interest in chronic illness. She focuses particularly on gut health in her clinic, especially in regards to the microbiome (“gut bacteria”) and its significant role in health and disease.
Through her own battles with poor gut health in the past to now working as a clinical nutritionist; she has dedicated her time to truly helping others with their own issues – either through prevention or management of disease.
She understands the loss of control and the fear and frustration one feels when illness has taken over and left you feeling helpless. Leanne utilises nutritional medicine with her clients as a way to enhance the body’s own defence system and to restore health and balance to the body.
She is passionate about not only improving physical health but also helping her clients take back control of their life. Her passion is to help others live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Tanya has spent the last 15 years researching and understanding how the Human Brain affects all aspects of the quality of life we live. What started out as a passion of wanting to assist people in progressing their careers from a degree qualified Human Resource Management perspective, led to the understanding that a holistic approach is needed to truly succeed in life, not just in the workplace. It is all related and cannot be separated.
Tanya has have achieved Mastery level in Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Coaching. She is an accredited Coach in delivering the Fountainhead Method for educating clients in dealing with their Stress, Anxiety and Depression and has also completed the Diploma of Modern Psychology.
Tanya has been involved in a lot of research in how nutrition affects brain optimisation, with a particular interest in cognitive challenges such as the Autism Spectrum Disorder, and includes people such as Dr John Gray and other International Health Professionals in her professional network on this topic.
Tanya possesses a national sporting background (in hockey) and uses the learned ‘coach’ relationship with her clients – providing the direction, support and tools to set each individual up for success, and tailoring each program to each particular individual for optimal results. She views her relationship with her clients as a partnership, and is extremely passionate on seeing her clients reach their goals.
